Account Information
American Broadband will honor requests from customers for account information maintained in a reasonably retrievable form, such as name, address, company or billing information, and will correct any inaccurate information that the customer brings to American Broadband’s attention. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the information on file with American Broadband is current and accurate.
Collection & Use
American Broadband shall collect and use customer identifiable information for billing, provisioning of service, to anticipate and solve problems associated with your service and to inform you of new products or services that may better meet your needs. American Broadband will use your customer identifiable information to market products and services that may interest to you, but
will not disclose or make available any of your customer identifiable information to any third parties seeking to market products.
Disclosure
American Broadband Communications, L.L.C. (“American Broadband”) will not trade, sell or disclose to any third party any form of customer identifiable information without the consent of the customer (except as required by subpoena, search warrant or other legal process or in the case where failure to disclose information will lead to imminent harm to the customer or others). This
includes information derived from registration, subscription, and use of any services provided by American Broadband Communications.
Improper Activity
American Broadband may use customer identifiable information to investigate and help prevent potentially unlawful activity or activities that threaten the integrity of service or network integrity or otherwise violates any applicable Service Subscriber Agreement.
Privacy of Communications
American Broadband will not listen to or disclose to any third parties your conversations or other communications that are transmitted using any services provided by American Broadband, except as required to ensure the proper operation of that service or as otherwise required by law.
Privacy Protections for Children
American Broadband does not target children or teenagers under the age of 18 for the sale of products or services or for the collection of information online. American Broadband does not knowingly collect customer identifiable information from children or teenagers under the age of eighteen. In addition, American Broadband will not knowingly promote or link to any third-party website that solicits or collects such customer identifiable information. American Broadband complies with all Federal laws and regulations that protect minors, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
